International Tax Course 2020
|
Aug - Dec. Consisting of seven workshops and six tutorials, the course helps candidates to understand the key international tax concepts and to develop practical skills for tax practitioners to give competent advice with respect to cross-border transactions. This course is also a compulsory component of the Institute's Professional Diploma in China Tax and Professional Diploma in Hong Kong Tax. Depending on conditions, this course may utilize webinars instead of face-to-face events.

During this live free webinar the speaker, Darrel Scott, International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) member and Chairman of the IASB’s SME Implementation Group, will explain the scope of and approach to the 2019 review of the IFRS for SMEs standard, focusing on some of its more significant changes. Enrolment opens at 9 a.m. Thursday, 30 Jul, and are limited and accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.

IAASB’s Exposure Draft for ISA 600 (Revised)

Learn about the proposed International Standard on Auditing (ISA) 600 (Revised), which introduces an enhanced risk-based approach to planning and performing a group audit, and highlights the importance of the group engagement team’s involvement in the component auditor’s work. The speakers also explain the background to the proposals and the key changes.
