Student Matters

Studentship renew

The 2025 studentship renewal notification was sent by email on 16 December 2024. To renew your studentship, simply complete two steps via Self-Service by 31 January 2025: complete a declaration form and pay the annual fee. Timely renewal of your studentship will ensure that there is no lapse of your status with the Institute.

A warm welcome to the 6 Authorized Employers and 21 Authorized Supervisors ("AS") who have recently joined the Institute's practical experience framework!

Friendly reminder - Annual signing off of your Training Record

It's time to wrap up your 2024 achieved professional competences and skills in your Training Record! Don't forget to arrange for your Counselor/AS to review and sign off by 31 January 2025* for professional and personal growth. You may find the steps to record your achieved professional competences and skills through the online system from our Practical Experience Framework webpage.

* The sign-off date of the Training Record can be scheduled according to your specific appraisal or review date; however, it must be completed at least once a year.

For students who have already completed the QP with sufficient practical experience for membership admission, remember to submit your membership applications on or before 10 March 2025.

New president and council

Following the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accounting (HKICPA)'s 52nd annual meeting (AGM), the HKICPA Council elected AU Chun Hing, Edward as President, and LAW Cheuk Kin, Stephen, JP and LEE Shun Yi, Jasmine as Vice-Presidents.
