Free webinar: FIRST Briefing session for accounting profession

The Financial Services Development Council will hold an online briefing session on the Financial Industry Recruitment Scheme for Tomorrow (FIRST) for Institute members on 25 Sep at 12:00 noon. The speakers will provide an overview of FIRST, which aims to create 1,500 full time jobs in the financial services industry. Firms regulated by the Institute can apply for a subsidy of up to HK$10,000/month/new position for 12 months. Attend to learn about the eligibility requirements and application procedures. Professional Diploma in Insolvency (Module B)

The Corporate Rescue & Restructuring and Cross-Border Insolvency module of HKICPA’s Professional Diploma in Insolvency is now open for enrolment. The upcoming module runs from Oct 2020 to Mar 2021, focuses on the practical issues faced by professionals. Institute members working in the field of insolvency are welcome to enrol if they meet the following admission requirements: 24 months or more of insolvency-related work experience or successful completion of the Institute's Insolvency Preparatory II. Enrol by 12 Oct.
