Listing Rules Compliance Series – Session 4

CPD hour: 2

In this evening webinar on 23 Feb, the speakers will share the application of the Codes on Takeovers and Mergers and Share Buy-backs, recommendations to avoid trading suspension and delisting, the latest amendments to the environmental, social and governance reporting requirements. The speaker will also discuss proposed amendments to the Listing Rules and the codification of general waivers and principles.

Soft Skills Series – Motivating your staff with quantum coaching

CPD hour: 1.5

The lunch webinar on 26 Feb will compare quantum coaching with traditional coaching and share various quantum coaching methodologies to motivate staff and enhance team members' collaboration. 

Addressing the issue of "fake news" 

CPD hour: 1

An award-winning journalist with The Washington Post will cover some observations on the recent proliferation of "fake news". The webinar will cover topics including the definition of "fake news", the common themes, the cause of misinformation spreading, and whether there is a role for forensic investigators.

Institute/ HKIoD joint virtual workshops: Executive Programme for Accountants – Independent Non-Executive Directors Practices for Accountants (re-run)

CPD hour (for each): 3

The four virtual workshops will cover the regulations and practices related to independent non-executive directors (INEDs). The relevant consideration for accepting to be the INEDs, the skills to enhance corporate governance for the company and the strategies for INEDs to perform their roles effectively will also be shared.
