Business Valuation Programme

A new e-Series course on the Asian bond market is available now. This course focuses on the fixed income securities mechanism, characteristics of Asian bonds and the strategies for investing in Asian bonds.

How is COVID-19 reshaping the future of human resources management in Hong Kong

CPD hour: 1.5

In the lunch webinar on 22 Mar, the speakers will share the recent human resources policies related to COVID-19 in Hong Kong and the impacts on employers and the workplaces from a legal perspective. The key trends for the future development of workplaces in Hong Kong after COVID-19 and the legal risks involved in remote working arrangements with employees will be discussed.

Soft Skills Series – Facilitating online meetings with results

The lunch webinar on 24 Mar will cover the facilitation skills helpful for holding effective online meetings and how to apply them in the workplace.

Anti-money laundering – Navigating the global sanctions landscape

During the free lunch webinar on 1 Apr, the speaker, who has extensive experience in compliance and fintech, will explore anti-money laundering (AML) topics including sanctions and the AML landscape in Hong Kong, global sanctions and compliance, sanctions breaches, and how technology can help.

Institute/ HKIoD joint virtual workshops: Executive Programme for Accountants: Role of a company director – Overview of Hong Kong legal and regulatory framework

The virtual workshop in the evening on 9 Apr will discuss the summary of the development of the legal system governing companies and company directors, company constitution and shareholders' authority and the legal role and responsibility of company directors and the board.
