We would like to extend our congratulations to Steven Maijoor on his appointment as the next Chair of the IFRS Foundation Trustees. We also congratulate Sam Woods, the newly appointed Chair of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), and Laura Forzani, who takes on the role of Managing Director of the IFRS Foundation. We look forward to seeing their continued work in strengthening global financial reporting and upholding high-quality, internationally accepted standards.

Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition is accepting nominations for the Listed Enterprises 2026 award until 11 September. This award recognizes Hong Kong-listed enterprises excelling in business performance, corporate governance, investor relations, development strategy, CSR, sustainability, innovation and risk management. All Hong Kong-listed companies are encouraged to apply.
