                           | Over 180 participants joined the HKICPA Student Awards 2025 on 27 September to celebrate exceptional student achievements. The event recognized top performers from our Qualification Programme, scholarship recipients, Online Quiz winners, and top achievers in the BAFS exams. We were honoured to have Mr. Joseph Chan, JP, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury as our Guest of Honour to present the awards. We were also pleased to have the support of our sponsors and members of the CPA Community, who joined us in engaging with student talents.

                           | A warm welcome to the 6 Authorized Employers and 13 Authorized Supervisors (AS) who have recently joined the Institute's practical experience framework!     Regular communication with your Counsellor/ AS is crucial in supporting your technical and enabling competences development. It's about time to meet with your Counselor/ AS for an interim review to discuss training progress and update the training records.   Transition to a new era!The transitional arrangement for the legacy Practical Experience Framework (PE Framework) will end on 31 December 2025. To ensure a smooth and stress-free process, transitioning students can refer to our previous communication linked here for guidance.
   For students who have already completed the QP with sufficient practical experience for membership admission, remember to submit your membership applications by 5 January 2026. |

                           | Reminders on workshop rules and examination regulations |  
                           | Several cases of violation of QP Workshop Rules and Examination Regulations were identified in the June 2025 Session. Disciplinary actions were imposed on the convicted students, including:   
	Marks penalty in examinations from the students' results of the relevant paper for the repeated violation of Examination Regulations.Warning letters were issued to students who had violated Examination Regulations for the first time, including using the wrong answer booklets, failing to produce the printout of the docket, writing the name on the cover/ in the answer booklets, ranging/ vibrating mobile phone, failing to write answers in black/ blue ink, etc.Warning letters were issued to students who had violated Workshop Rules for the first time, including attending workshops in a public area.    Please remember that it is important to adhere to all Workshop Rules and Examination Regulations to avoid unnecessary penalties. Students should read through the Workshop Rules in section 3.8.1 and the Examination Regulations in section 3.9.3 of the QP Student Handbook. |  |  |  |
