The course, which will start in May 2024, provides practical and extensive knowledge of key areas in contemporary taxation practice in Hong Kong. It is a compulsory component for pursuing the Institute's Professional Diploma in Hong Kong Tax. Alternatively, you may also enrol in the individual workshops within the course as standalone series to stay up-to-date with practical taxation knowledge. In this workshop, the speakers will cover global and local ESG trends and standards as well as both latest and upcoming ESG regulations in Hong Kong. They will also introduce the standards and reporting requirements of greenhouse gas, the calculation of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, data collection (including value chain (Scope 3) emissions). Practical insights will also be shared with participants. |

This webinar aims to highlight the importance of data assets and the implications arising from China's recent pronouncement on the "incorporation of data assets to financial statement." The speaker will delve into topics such as the utilization of business valuation techniques to value data assets, how the pronouncements fit into current accounting rules, and more. |
