QP Marker
The general requirements for a QP Marker are:
- Having a minimum of four years' membership (CPA / FCPA) with the Institute;
- Hold or recently held a responsible position in a professional, business, government or academic organisation; and
- Having a working knowledge and have demonstrated technical competence in the module subject matter.
Professional Level
The Institute is now recruiting Professional Level Markers for the Qualification Programme. You are cordially invited to join us in unlocking the potentials of future-ready accountants!
We are now recruiting QP markers for the following module:
- Module 11 (Financial Reporting)
- Module 14 (Taxation)

- Having a working knowledge and have demonstrated technical competence in the module subject matter.

To become a QP marker, you will have to attend the Information Session for Prospective Markers. This Information Session aims to provide you with information about our new QP examination and its marking process, as well as trial marking experience. Attending the Information Session is an essential step in qualifying as a QP marker. The face-to-face Information Session and Trial Marking Sessions are tentatively scheduled for the evenings of the week of 20 April..

Associate Level

QP Workshop Facilitator
For HKICPA members, the general requirements for QP Workshop Facilitators are:
- Having a minimum of four years' membership with the Institute;
- Holding or recently held a responsible position in a professional, business, government or academic organisation;
- Having a working knowledge and have demonstrated technical competence in the module subject matter; and
- Good command of spoken English.
For non-HKICPA members, the general requirements for QP Workshop Facilitators of Introductory Workshop are:
- Having a minimum of three years of experience in conducting soft skills training;
- Having a minimum of five years of work experience in managerial position in any reputable or international business corporations; and
- Good command of spoken English.
