Register as a CPA

Registration of a person as a certified public accountant (CPA) (會計師) with the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants is governed by sections 24(1) and (1A) of the Professional Accountants Ordinance.  A CPA is a member of the Institute.

• have attained the age of 21

• are a fit and proper person to be a certified public accountant

Routes to CPA:

• Take the Qualification Programme

• have completed the Institute's professional examinations; and
• have satisfied the practical experience (實際經驗) requirements.
