Designation requirements
To be awarded the specialist designation in insolvency, the applicant must:
- Be a member of the Institute (i.e. CPA or FCPA) in good standing with the Institute;
- Be up to date with the Institute's CPD compliance;
- Have obtained the insolvency specialist qualification i.e. is a successful graduate of the professional diploma in insolvency programme (formerly known as the "diploma in insolvency programme");
- Meet the practical experience requirement;
- Meet the competency requirement; and
- Provide additional information and references.

All applications to be awarded the designation are assessed by the Institute's insolvency SD vetting committee and the registration committee to ensure that they meet the admission requirements.
