Members should take note of the important update made to Statement 1.500 Continuing Professional Development regarding specific CPD requirements for Responsible Persons of Registered PIE auditors which will come into effect from 1 December 2023 onwards. Responsible Persons of Registered PIE auditors must now complete at least five verifiable hours of CPD activities related to PIE engagements annually, as part of the existing total requirement of 60 verifiable hours in each rolling three-year period.
