Members of the Insurance Advisory Panel have both practical and direct knowledge of implementing HKFRS/IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts. They are representatives in the finance & actuarial functions of organisations that issue insurance contracts, as well as representative auditors/consultants of the insurance industry.
A panel member is also a member of the IASB's Transition Resource Group
